In court documents revealed by the New York Post, Alex Rodriguez, the Yankees third baseman, has been ordered to produce reports made by wiretapping or other surveillance of his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cynthia.
Cynthia apparently has accused Alex of bugging her phone lines and hiring detectives to track her movements. In other words, she has accused him of spying on her.
His attorneys deny the accusations.

Some people feel that “spying” in any way is morally wrong.
I disagree. I think there are several situations where it is not only recommended but necessary.
For example, as a parent I think it is my responsibility to find out exactly what is going on with my kids. I’m not suggesting the random use of Spy Cameras or other Spy Gear (listening or recording devices for example) for every child at all times. However, if a parent has a “feeling” or obvious signs that their child is participating in something (or with someone) inappropriate or downright dangerous, a parent needs to find out the truth. We’d all like to believe that our children would tell us the truth but that’s not often the case.
A business owner may also find the need for a Surveillance Cameras at work to monitor employees activities. Whether it’s the employee surfing the net for personal reasons but on company time, or outrignt theft, this is another situation I feel it is absolutely necessary to use Spy Gear to protect your livelihood.
There is also the potential use of Surveillance Equipment in catching a cheating spouse or partner. Knowing what’s really going on is not just a matter of “needing to know the truth,” but it could potentially be a matter of your health (as in STD’s) as well.
